Job Description:
SOCALOCA is seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Regional Field Operatives. As a Regional Field Operative, your primary responsibilities will include attending fixtures, FA/Club meetings, building relationships with football clubs, and advocating the benefits of SOCALOCA. You will also be responsible for onboarding inorganic player accounts onto the SOCALOCA platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Club Engagement: Attend fixtures and participate in Football Association (FA) and club meetings to build a strong presence and rapport within the local football community.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture positive relationships with football clubs, club officials, coaches, and players, acting as the face of SOCALOCA in your region.
- Benefits Presentation: Advocate and educate clubs and individuals on the benefits and advantages of using SOCALOCA’s services and platforms for both clubs and players.
- Onboarding Players: Facilitate the onboarding of inorganic player accounts onto the SOCALOCA platform, ensuring the process is smooth, efficient, and aligns with company policies.
- Market Insights: Collect and provide feedback and insights from clubs and players to help inform the company’s strategies and enhance its offerings.
- Brand Promotion: Act as a brand ambassador for SOCALOCA, promoting the company’s values and offerings in a positive and professional manner.
- Reporting: Maintain records of club and player interactions and provide regular reports to keep the company informed of your activities and progress.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sports management, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Passion for football and a deep understanding of the sport and its community.
- Previous experience working within the FA or Regional FAs is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Strong networking and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using technology and apps for player onboarding.
- Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- A willingness to attend fixtures and club meetings, which may involve occasional travel.
- Knowledge of the local football scene and its key players is advantageous.
Salary: Commission only
