I have guided and educated a lot of passionate and talented coaches. They often developed great players, but it was hard to keep the overview and track the development of both the coaches as well as the players. Especially because we couldn’t always work on the ground with every single one, as often as we would want to. That’s where SOCALOCA fills in a gap, it gives us the opportunity to stay in touch with academies, whilst we track players and coaches from different countries and areas, even if we aren’t able to travel to these places as often as we would want to.
Especially in Africa there is a lot of raw talent, still playing in the lower leagues or even just playing only friendly matches. Those players and coaches are often the most talented and passionate, but they lack the visibility to progress.
Besides that, those coaches/academies sometimes feel that they have to connect to a lot of different people, which may result in too many people being involved when a player finally gets an opportunity. I’ve seen a lot of players not being able to sign a contract because the negotiations with all the involved people were too complicated. With SOCALOCA, academies, coaches and players can create their own visibility and maintain relationships with connections. They don’t need the help of shady third parties anymore.
